24 SP GRID CASTER

The 24SP Grid Caster was developed to handle almost all alloy casting needs at realistic speeds of 12 to 18 casts per minute for 3.2mm down to 1 mm grid thickness. All features from leaddispensing to grid stacking are automatic.
The 24SP is totally electric heated and self-contained. Cast grids are automatically aligned parallel to center of trim die and power fed in and out of trim die. (Die cooling available.) Mold spraying systems provide clean filtered air free of oil and water for both mold spray gun and vent bars. Individual air cylinders are provided for both mold opening/closing and for grid ejection. Lead valve and lead dispensing ladle are gas purged to reduce dross. Simplified cast grid slow down system to minimize grid distortion. Maximum cast grid thickness .150 in.(3.9mm) x 158.75mm Trim Width x 385.75mm Lug to Lug.

24 AS GRID CASTER

The 24AS adjustable trim die casting machine was developed for casting and trimming Grids from widths of 107mm to 161 mm and grid thickness of 3.7mm down to 1.2mm. Using alloys that are standard to the Battery Industry. This Caster will consistently provide up to 20 casts per minute and capable of handling both the Standard 17 in. and extended Mold Blocks for double wide Golf Cart Grids. The 24AS Grid Caster is ideal for trimming Motorcycle multi grid panel mold designs where a standard grid caster would require additional fixed trim dies. The adjustable Trim Die Caster eliminates the need for multiple trim die changes. You only change the Grid Molds to cast a different size grid. All Grid Casters are capable of operating Grid Molds manufactured by Main producers.
