Dumping machine has the purpose to evacuate the acid inside the accumulator after the formation process. Machine has a frame made of stainless steel (AISI 316) tubulars that supports a tank for acid recovery.
The frame supports besides the rotating drum placed inside the tank. On the drum the batteries flow and, through a hydraulic actuator, the drum rotates from 0° to 180°. The shifting of the batteries from the feeding conveyor to the rotating drum happens through a flowing bar moved by pneumatic actuator.
The bar is positioned above the drum and it is complete of a series of teeth for taking that, moved by pneumatic ctuators, they go down up to hooking of the battery that it is brought inside the tank. The teeth go up returning to the original position when the bar enters again: in such way the battery is not damaged.
Conveyor (for feeding of dumping machine) has a mainframe made of stainless steel AISI 316L and belt conveyor made of polypropylene with pinions and supports made of polypropylene. At the entry of conveyor there is a separator device, while in correspondence of operative head there are mechanical adjustable stoppers to regulate in order to model of battery.
